Why Price Protection? It's a fact of life. Fuel prices are subject to things like supply and demand and changing world events. And while we can neither predict nor control these things, our Price Protection Plans offer you the best way to protect your family budget.

Our 12-Month Plans:

Pre-Paid: This year Harris Comfort is offering our customers our fixed pre-paid program. With this program, you pay for all your fuel before the heating season begins, when prices are historically lower.

*Cap Budget Plan: This plan offers you the best of both worlds - the benefits of a budget plan with the price protection of a cap program. You'll pay no more than your capped price with full downside protection. How's that for convenience?

Posted Price Budget: This plan lets you gain more control over your heating costs. By spreading out your annual fuel costs equally over 12 months, you'll have the peace of mind and convenience that comes with knowing exactly what your fuel budget is going to be each month. Based on market fluctuations, your account may, at the end of the program, be credited to the following year or billed for the remaining balance.

*Pre-Paid Cap: This program allows you to keep your money in the bank to gain interest while you protect yourself from rising prices with downside protection. You may purchase price protection for as many gallons as you feel you will need for the season at a small per-gallon fee (if unsure about consumption needs, please contact the office), and we will set a cap on the price you will pay for your delivery. If the market price drops, so will your cost, and if the market price increases, you will be protected from paying more than your cap price for the gallons purchased. However, any usage over the protected gallons will be subject to the posted price of that day.
*Cap Protection fees apply. Please indicate the number of gallons you would like protected when you sign up.

Ride the Market: This plan allows you maximum flexibility. You'll pay as you go for each delivery at the market price on the day of delivery. This means that the cost will vary depending on our posted street price and the chosen date of delivery. Harris Comfort will deliver your fuel without any price commitment and if you pay within 10 days you will receive a $0.03 per gallon discount applied to your bill.

These payment options are designed to ensure that you get the best value for your energy dollars. All that we require is that you sign on as an automatic delivery customer and that your account is kept current.
